The National University of Education (FNE) for Democratic Orientation sent a letter to Mohamed Saad Berrada, Minister of National Education, Primary Education and Sports, demanding that the file of the teachers of cell 10 be settled in accordance with the requirements of Article 81 of Decree 2.24.140 issued on February 23, 2024.
The text of the correspondence, a copy of which was obtained by Telkel Arabi, stated that the association clings to the agreement concluded between the government and educational unions within the framework of the December 26, 2023 agreement, as an essential step to end the suffering of this group.
According to the same document, the association stresses its adherence to the right to promotion to the first grade for all employees who have completed 14 years of seniority in the second grade, granting them 5 legal years without requiring them to be restricted four times in the promotion schedule. It also calls for the period of seniority exceeding 14 years in the second class to be counted within seniority in the first class, and their financial dues to be settled.
-The document indicated that these demands come in the context of implementing the two sectoral agreements dated December 10 and 26, 2023 between the government and the most representative educational unions, and within the framework of the proper application of Article 81 of Decree No. 2.24.140 issued on February 23, 2024, which is the basic system for employees of the Ministry of Education. The document added that these demands also come in the context of the Ministry’s preparation of the lists of candidates for promotion by selection for the year 2023. The National University of Education (FNE) highlighted its adherence to its firm positions regarding this file, which it reiterated in its previous correspondence to the Ministry.
