Arthur Fils dominates Zizou Bergs and qualifies for the quarter-finals in Hong Kong

In each set, the twenty-year-old Frenchman widened the gap first, to lead 4-2. But both times, Bergs recovered at 4-4. In the first tie-break, his fifth ace of the match, at 221 km/h and at the T, gave Fils three set points. Bergs saved the first two by going to the net and Fils himself missed a volley on the third before off-centering a forehand which in turn put his back to the wall (6-7). A good return to the feet saved him on this one, and he pocketed the set two points later, after an exchange full of authority.
