Titled Against Sens 2 or Your fault in the original version, the film, available since December 27, takes us back into the tumultuous story between the two lovebirds. It's been more than a year since fans of Mercedes Ron's literary work and its film adaptation have been desperately waiting to discover the continuation of the romance between Noah and Nick Leister. Now available, fans are numerous – just like SFR News – to have hastened to launch Against Sens 2. If you also watched this new opus in one go, and therefore discovered its deafening and sad finale, you naturally wonder when the film À Contre-Sens 3, or Our fault in original version, will be released on Prime Video. What happens at the end of À Contre-Sens 2?
Unfortunately, all is not ''well that ends well'' for our two lovebirds. While the romance between Noah and Nick (Nicole Wallace and Gabriel Guevara) seemed to be going strong at the very beginning of this second film, things quickly turned sour when Sofia, Nick's new lawyer colleague, showed up. his nose. But that's not all, the return of the young man's mother also caused many problems. Remember… While Noah and Nick are trying as best they can to overcome the difficulties they have to face and they are already thinking about distancing themselves, Nick's mother arrives at the Gala, organized by William and Rafaella, with a bombshell announcement: Maggie (Noah Casas) is also William's daughter.
Indeed, after manipulating Noah, Anabel (Goya Toledo) broke into the Leisters' house to steal William's toothbrush. It was thanks to the DNA present on it that she was able to do a paternity test, thus proving that Maggie is indeed the daughter of William (Ivan Sanchez). When Nick learns that it is partly because of Noah that his family is now upset by this new scandal, he goes into a fury and decides to languorously kiss Sofia (Gabriela Andrada), an act that breaks Noah's heart.
As the young woman returns to her university residence, she crosses paths with Michael (Javier Morgade), the guidance counselor who has clearly had a crush on her since the start of the school year. Saddened, drunk and angry following Nick's actions, Noah ends up sleeping with the young man. But, at the same time, Nick realizes his mistake and decides to come and explain himself to his sweetheart. Unfortunately, when he arrives at the university residence, he comes across a half-dressed Noah who doesn't even look at him, thus signaling the end of the couple, at least for the moment…
In the final scene of the film, we see Noah going to his father's grave and the teenager discovers a note there saying “Noah, I will always be your light in the darkness – Nick”. A sign that the story between the two lovers is not yet over and that hope persists.
When will the film À Contre-Sens 3 be released?
The most dedicated fans will certainly not have missed the information: a 3rd film Against the Sense is indeed planned and will be released soon on Prime Video. In France, this will be titled Against Sens 3 and in the original version, it will be the film Our fault. As a reminder, this should be the last film featuring the love story between Noah and Nick since it is a trilogy. However, the crucial question still remains when will the film Against Sens 3 will come out. For the moment, Amazon's streaming platform has not given any information as to the release date of this third opus.
As a reminder, here are the release dates of the first two films:
- Against the Sense (Blame Mia) – June 8, 2023
- Against Sens 2 (Your fault) – December 27, 2024
If we rely on the release dates of the two previous opuses, we can then estimate that if the waiting time between the first and second parts is the same as between the second and third upcoming opuses, Against Sens 3 should only appear in the spring of 2026. Obviously, this is only a simple hypothesis and Prime Video could very well announce an earlier release date, to the delight of fans.
