In addition to hosting several successful shows, Arthur also takes care of his three children, whom he had from three different relationships: Samuel (27 years old) born from his union with Léa Vigny, Aaron (15 years) with Caroline Nielsen and Manava (9 years) with his wife Mareva Galanter. This Saturday, December 21, the producer is the guest of Isabelle Ithurburu in 50’ Inside. In an extract revealed on the show's social networks, he confides in Isabelle Ithurburu about his sons and daughter, revealing a rather surprising anecdote about the education he gives them.
Arthur reveals his annual ritual with his children
Arthur has a habit of making the French laugh by presenting his flagship shows, such as Friday anything goes. However, he does not act the same way with his children. Regarding their education, he declares that he is “less fun at home than in life”. “I’m a pretty strict person”specifies Mareva Galanter’s husband. However, he also knows how to please them with a very specific and surprising tradition. Indeed, Jacques Essebag, his real name, confides that he gives them the “right to one week per year called yes week”before continuing: “They decide where I go with them and I don't have the right to say no. So it could be finding myself in an amusement park in Florida in a swimsuit with full screen and plastic shoes, and a rubber ring, riding slides for five days, and eating burgers.” It is with great humor that the presenter of 10 out of 10 explains this process, even if he sometimes wonders if his three children would not benefit from it for “to cause pain” or “drive him crazy”.
“I have had a problem since birth” : Arthur opens up about his disability
The host of Who wants to make millions is not in the habit of opening up about his private life or his health. He made an exception in the podcast Génération Do It Yourself by Matthieu Stefani last June. He spoke about his disability which affects his right ear: “I have had a problem since birth, which is that I am deaf in my right ear. I have blocked ducts”. He admits that this “was very complicated for a personality who works on TV or radio”. However, he found the solution to carry out his job as he wishes by wearing a headset, which allows him “to hear [ses] guests”.
