Saturday will start with some clear spells, but the chance of rain will increase again in the afternoon. From Sunday it will become colder due to unstable and cold maritime polar air. On Monday, showers may even take on a wintry character.

Saturday a rain zone leaves our country and some rare clear spells temporarily appear. However, clouds increase from the west with gradual light rain in the afternoon. More intense rain will follow in the late afternoon. The maximum temperatures are between 4 degrees in the High Fens and 11 degrees at the sea. The south-westerly wind will be moderate to quite strong with gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour. The RMI reports this.

In the night from Saturday to Sunday draws a rain zone over our country. Behind it it becomes changeable and colder, with showers that become wintry in nature towards the end of the night in the High Ardennes. Occasionally there are clear spells. By the end of the night, temperatures are between 1 degree in the High Ardennes and 7 degrees on the coast. The moderate to fairly strong southwest wind turns to the west and brings gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour, up to 80 kilometers per hour at sea.

Sunday unstable and quite cold maritime polar air influences our weather. It is variable to heavily cloudy with showers that are winter in nature in the Ardennes. Snow can accumulate in the High Fens. Some local thunderclaps are not excluded. In the afternoon the showers become less frequent. The maximum temperatures vary from 1 degree in the High Ardennes to 7 degrees on the coast. The west to southwest wind is blowing moderately to quite strong, with gusts of up to 60 kilometers per hour, at sea up to 80 kilometers per hour.

Monday it remains changeable with regular showers that take on a winter character. Snow is falling in the High Fens and the snow cover continues to grow. In Belgian Lorraine and in the areas near the French border it would remain mainly dry. The maximum temperatures are between 0 and 7 degrees.

Also Tuesday we still have to make do with heavy clouds and light rain. In the Ardennes the first precipitation may still have a winter character before turning into rain. The maximum temperatures are reached in the evening and are between 1 degree on the Ardennes Heights, 5 to 6 degrees in the center and 10 degrees at the sea. The weak south-westerly wind will become moderate during the day.

From Wednesday it should become drier but it still remains gray. The RMI predicts a lot of low cloud, little wind and sometimes some drizzle. The maximum temperatures are between 6 and 10 degrees.

For Thursday the RMI predicts the same weather as Wednesday. Also Friday it is still gray in most places, but there may be some clear skies in the east and southeast of the country. Maximums of 6 to 9 degrees.
