An appetizer before the main course. While TF1 has formalized the composition of the jury for the seventh season of “Mask Singer”, the channel offered on Friday December 20 a special bonus of its flagship program for the end-of-year holidays. For the occasion, former participants of the competition agreed to disguise themselves once again by wearing some of the emblematic costumes from previous editions. But to fool an experienced jury of investigators (Kev Adams, Chantal Ladesou, Laurent Ruquier and Anggun), these nine personalities swapped their season's outfit for another. The four budding detectives also had to unmask a mysterious celebrity, who took on this responsibility for the very first time.
Triumphant entry for the mystery star
For a first, the rookie, camouflaged under his Chameleon costume, hit hard by winning this special edition of the game. The trophy in fact went to the imitator Véronic DiCaire, whose voice amazed jurors and viewers alike. She won in the final against the endearing Dragon, played by Laurent Ournac, who had failed to reach third place on the podium in 2022 under the Cerf tunic. Winner of the second season, Larusso once again performed well in the Monkey costume, formerly associated with the singer Alizée. Another winner of the competition made her return since investigators easily recognized Laurence Boccolini in the Bride's dress. Valérie Bègue, Natasha St-Pier and Keen'V respectively performed in the Spider, Husky and Peacock outfits. While he took part in the exercise in the skin of the Skeleton, played this time by the imitator Marc-Antoine Le Bret, Djibril Cissé showed his claws, dressed as a Lion. Finally, Cartman (the Zebra in season 5) and Issa Doumbia (the Dragon in season 2) paired up in the Camel costume.
