He was arrested a little later without the police finding any trace of the young person.
A dispute between ex-spouses over custody of their child
The victim was finally foundannounced Nice public prosecutor Damien Martinelli on Friday.
During her hearing, she indicated that she had been punched several times and had marks on her face. She refused to file a complaint against the suspect who happens to be her ex-spouse. She also refused to be examined by a forensic doctor.
Confronted with his victim, the suspect admitted to having slapped him. The origin of their conflict? Custody of their child. According to him, his ex-partner “would have attempted to force entry into the grandmother’s home where the child of whom the father has sole custody was located.”
Still according to the prosecutor, investigations could not confirm that the victim was hit by the suspect’s car.
He will be brought before the Nice Criminal Court this Friday afternoon for an immediate appearance. He is being prosecuted for spousal violence.
