NEWS. ALL RIGHT. WE’RE GOING TO START THIS. LOOK AT YOUR FRIDAY MORNING WITH A LITTLE BIT OF LIGHT RAIN ACROSS THE AREA. THIS IS GOING TO WET DOWN THE ROADWAYS. IT’S IMMEDIATELY NORTH OF DOWNTOWN INTO CLARK COUNTY. SO WE’RE GOING TO BE DEALING WITH A LITTLE BIT OF LIGHT RAIN ALL THE WAY. THE DRIVE UP SCOTTSBURG TOWARDS SEYMOUR. OR IF YOU’RE HEADING INTO TOWN, YOU HIT THE WIPERS A TIME OR TWO. WE’VE ALSO HAD A FEW RAINDROPS UP INTERSTATE 71 NOW TOWARDS CARROLLTON. ALSO, HENRY TRIMBLE COUNTY AS WELL. YOU’VE SEEN A LITTLE BIT IN THE WAY OF SOME LIGHT RAIN, TEMPERATURES ALL ABOVE FREEZING. THAT’S GOOD NEWS. WE’RE NOT CONCERNED WITH ANY SLICK SPOTS ON THE ROADWAYS. AND NOTICE, ONCE THIS LITTLE BATCH MOVES ON OFF TOWARDS THE EAST, WE WILL GET A BRIEF PERIOD OF SOME DRIER TIME. NOW THE NUMBERS HAVE BEEN COMING UP. WE’VE EVEN TOPPED OUT NOW 41 AT ALI INTERNATIONAL, 35, E-TOWN 34, IN CAMPBELLSVILLE AND MADISON. SO AGAIN, AS A LITTLE BIT OF THAT LIGHT RAIN TRIES TO MOVE ON IN, WE’RE ABOVE FREEZING ACROSS THE AREA NOW IN TERMS OF OUR DAY PLANNER, OUR HIGHS ARE OCCURRING RIGHT ABOUT NOW. FRONT MOVES ON IN AND WE GET CHILLIER BY MIDDAY. WE’RE 35, MOSTLY CLOUDY, BREEZY AND COLD. A FEW FLURRIES COULD BE FLYING AROUND, BUT I THINK IT’S GOING TO BE A MIX OF SOME LIGHT RAIN AND SNOW OFF AND ON THROUGH THE DAY. TEMPERATURES ABOVE FREEZING AT 38 BY 5:00, SO WE’RE NOT TALKING ACCUMULATIONS IN TERMS OF THE SNOWFALL. AND WE’RE MOSTLY CLOUDY 34 BY 10:00. SO IT WILL BE QUITE CHILLY FOR ANY OF YOUR EVENING PLANS. FORECAST RADAR SHOWS THAT LITTLE BATCH OF LIGHT RAIN PUSHING EAST THROUGH THE EARLY MORNING. WE GET A LITTLE BIT OF THAT BREAK FOR THE PEAK OF THE MORNING RUSH TO ABOUT NINE 10:00, AND THEN WE’LL TURN OUR ATTENTION TO THE NORTH AND WEST AS A LITTLE BATCH OF FLURRIES AND PERHAPS EVEN A LIGHT SNOW SHOWER MOVES IN FOR THE AFTERNOON. BUT AGAIN, THOSE NUMBERS ABOVE 32. SO WE’RE NOT ANTICIPATING ACCUMULATION WITH THIS SYSTEM. AND IT MAY EVEN MIX IN WITH A FEW RAINDROPS ON THE BACK EDGE OF IT. BY LATE INTO THE AFTERNOON, I THINK INTO THE EVENING, WE’RE GOING TO BE TRENDING DRIER ACROSS THE REGION. AND WHILE FORECAST RADAR HAS A LITTLE MORE CLOUD COVER INTO TOMORROW AFTERNOON, I THINK WE’LL HAVE SOME SUCCESS IN MIXING IN SOME BREAKS INTO THE AFTERNOON. BUT THE WEEKEND AHEAD IS DEFINITELY LOOKING TO BE ON THE CHILLY SIDE. SO RIGHT ABOUT 40 NOW GOING TO 38 TOMORROW AND 41 ON SUNDAY. THAT’S A FEW DEGREES BELOW OUR NORMAL HIGH OF 46. WE START TO COME OUT OF THE CHILLIER AIR NEXT WEEK WITH 48 MONDAY AND TUESDAY, BUT CHRISTMAS EVE WE DODGE A FEW SHOWERS. BUT THE GOOD NEWS IN OUR FORECAST OUTLOOK IS THAT CHRISTMAS DAY IS LOOKING MUCH, MUCH DRIER ACROSS THE AREA WITH HIGHS IN THE MIDDLE 50S. WE’LL GO UPPER 50S THURSDAY AND SOME OF THAT RAIN THAT WAS LOOKING LIKE IT WAS GOING TO FALL ON CHRISTMAS DAY HAS BEEN PUSH
