Christmas is around the corner and with the same old streaming services being boring, Disney Plus might have an offer for Brits who fancy switching it up.

Disney Plus is offering 12 months for the price of 10 thanks to a new Christmas deal if you have been on the lookout for a Netflix substitute. Disney is giving you 12 months premium for £129.90 – which means users are getting two months for free.

The deal is only available to shoppers who opt for the upfront annual plan which cuts £25.98 off the usual price. As those who opt for the pay per month plan would be paying £12.99 per month for a full 12 months – that’s £155.88 per year.

Disney also offers cheaper alternatives starting at £4.99 a month which is still considered a brilliant bundle, but is stripped back of the quality – instead of 4K UHD & HDR users will get 1080p Full HD…oh, and adverts. Another downside to the basic plan is you can’t chop two months of tariff off by paying upfront, as there’s no annula plan option.

If the Standard with Ads plan isn’t for you then there’s also the choice of the Standard plan at £7.99 per month or £89.90 a year.

Disney+ brings together a wealth of content owned by the Walt Disney Company, including the feature-length animated films like Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs, The Jungle Book, The Lion King, Sleeping Beauty.

It also bundles every entry in the Star Wars saga, which became part of Walt Disney following its acquisition of George Lucas’ Lucasfilm in October 2012 for $4 billion, as well as exclusive new entries, like the award-winning The Mandalorian, beloved animation The Bad Batch and hugely-popular Obi-Wan Kenobi.

There’s even a cheaper way for you to get Disney+. If you’re looking to buy a new smartphone or upgrade to a new SIM-only plan, you can claim a six-month subscription to Disney Plus for free. O2 offers a range of free subscriptions to new customers or existing users who take out a new plan, including Amazon , Prime Video and Audible.

If you’re already with O2, you can still enjoy a discount. If you add Disney+ to your current plan within the My O2 account settingsthe subscription fee (£7.99) will be included as part of your monthly direct debit.

However there are alternatives out there. Paramount+ is one of other subscription services you can consider signing up with and grabbing it for £4.99 a month.
