Justice Live, apotheosis at the Accor Arena | LIVE REPORT

, December 17, 2024 – The walls of the Accor Arena are still vibrating. Justice delivered an electrifying sold-out show this Tuesday, the first evening of the two Parisian concerts, in a supercharged atmosphere where the past and the future of electronic intertwined for a sound and visual communion. An evening to be marked with a… luminous cross.

From the first notes of “Genesis”, the room is immersed in an almost mystical atmosphere. The emblematic crosses, always present, illuminate a futuristic decor: a moving ceiling, luminous cubes, and these articulated arms which transform the stage space into a living organism. The introduction is intense, the bass hammers the bodies and the scenography magnetizes the attention. Xavier de Rosnay and Gaspard Augé do not take half measures, and from the first seconds, we know that we will come out of this experience shaken.

Positioned face to face, the group orchestrates a precise set mixing classics and good tracks from the new album, all rearranged with astonishing mastery. “Generator”, “One Night/All Night” and “Neverender”, taken from the latest album Hyperdramaintegrate fluidly with monuments like “DANCE” or “Love SOS”. The transitions are impeccable, oscillating between moments of hypnotic tension and cathartic explosions, all sprinkled with strobe lights and visual effects bordering on surrealism.

In the pit, the atmosphere is boiling. Higher up, the stands vibrate with the jumps of a wild, captivated audience. When “Phantom Pt.II” resonates at the end of the set, it’s the final explosion. An uninhibited party where ecstasy makes you forget the outside world.

After 1h30 of live, Justice leaves the stage, but the energy remains suspended in the air. It wasn’t just a concert; it was a celebration of everything the duo has built over nearly two decades. The enthusiasm of their debut is intact, but the execution is that of masters. We go out with heavy legs, ringing ears and a smile plastered on our faces. That’s the main thing.
