Lisandro López’s penultimate game in Sarmiento de Junín had the flavor of a farewell. Although it was for the people of Verde de Junín, the years and the hustle and bustle were already taking their toll. Not to talent but to physicality. However, the victory of Diego Milito in the elections could change the panorama.

Racing, through its social networks, wrote an open letter on behalf of the club addressed to Licha. With totally sentimental fragments, the hope of the Last Dance for the one born in Rafael Obligado was completely open.

The letter said: «It is difficult to write these lines to you. Where to start Licha? If you are in the center of my story and I am a part of yours. “I close my eyes and I see you running like a beast on court one of the Tita Premises.”

It was a review of his career, with his achievements in Portugal and , until his return to Avellaneda. And the open letter closed: «I wish we could beat time. It can’t be done. “We are older and we love each other as much as that first day.”

Finally, from Racing, they lit a small illusion: «Come whenever you want, Licha. “We are going to be waiting for you. Maybe neither you nor I know, but we still have some page of glory left to write together.”
