This aid intended for households receiving RSA, ASS or AER will be paid from this Tuesday. Its amount remains unchanged.
Good news for 2.2 million low-income households. The Christmas bonus will be paid from this Tuesday, December 17 without any action to be taken, the payment being automatically made by the CAF, the MSA or Pôle emploi into the bank accounts.
To be eligible for this aid created 26 years ago and renewed each year, you must have received the active solidarity income (RSA), the specific solidarity allowance (ASS) or the equivalent allowance in November or December 2024. retirement (AER).
How much?
For ASS or AER beneficiaries, the amount of the Christmas bonus is fixed, at 152.45 euros. On the other hand, it changes according to the composition of the household for RSA beneficiaries, without being revalued, as is generally the case. The amounts will therefore be as follows:
- 152,45 euros for a person living alone
- Family of 2: 228,68 euros pour a single parent with a child or a couple without children
- Family of 3: 274,41 euros for a single parent with two children or a couple with one child
- Family of 4: 320.15 euros for a couple with two children or 335,39 euros for a single parent with three children
Christmas gifts more expensive or cheaper than last year?
- Family of 5: 381.12 euros for a couple with three children or 396,37 euros for a single parent with four children
- Family of 6 people: 442.10 euros for a couple with four children or 457,35 euros for a single parent with five children
- Family of 7: 503.09 euros for a couple with five children. Beyond this threshold, CAF will pay 60,98 euros for each additional person
On the other hand, single people with 1 or more children receiving ASS or AER will not benefit from the 35% increase in the premium which was decided exceptionally last year.
