At the big one Final on December 23rd The newlyweds then officially announce on SAT.1 whether they want to stay together and get to know each other further or have decided to divorce.
“The grand final was very extraordinary for me. There was lots of surprises and sudden twists“that has never existed before on ‘Wedding at First Sight’,” says couples therapist Beate Quinn, who is part of the team of experts.
Who are the six couples?
Twelve singles took part in this year’s season and married someone unknown on TV. These six wedding couples were chosen as the perfect match:
- Pia (27) and Toni (31)
- Michelle (32) and Fabian (38)
- Emma (25) and Christian (31)
- Jenny (39) and Martin (46)
- Desiree (37) and Marco (44)
- Francisca (30) and Kevin (34)
It is not yet officially known which love relationship lasted, but there are already initial speculations. The preview of the upcoming episodes also gives an insight into which couples harmonize and whose house blessing went wrong on their honeymoon.
Pia and Toni: Too many disagreements?
Pia (27) and Toni (31) were the first couple to meet in season 11 in an emotional ceremony Yes, yes has given. Even on their honeymoon in Japan, it looked at first glance as if the couple were in perfect harmony.
But it quickly became apparent that Pia was capable in many areas challenges sees. Toni’s lack of independence, his lack of experience – he has never had a relationship – and the distance of around 800 kilometers are causing problems for the 27-year-old. Toni sees the whole thing more confidently: “We still know far too little about each other. As of now, I would say: Yes, we want to get to know each other further.”
Whether the couple gets closer or the marriage fails will be revealed at the finale at the latest.
Michelle and Fabian: “The air is slowly running out!”
Even though there were several arguments during the honeymoon in Singapore and the end of the trip didn’t look exactly rosy (Michelle: “The air is slowly running out.”they are still considered one of the show’s hopes.
After a short break, Michelle, who lives in the Ruhr area, visited Fabian in his Home Illertissen in Bavaria. Fabian prepared his apartment for his wife and wanted to make it as comfortable as possible for her with messages of love and a self-made bedside lamp.
But the 32-year-old still doesn’t feel like she’s really arrived. Fabian says: “I can imagine having an everyday life here with Michelle,” but Michelle’s uncertainty is clearly noticeable. The spatial distance makes getting to know each other even more difficult. Whether they will get involved in a long-distance relationship, even change their place of residence or decide to go to a divorce lawyer?
Emma and Christian: tender plants of love
After initial difficulties, the couple finally got closer during their honeymoon in Sri Lanka. Over a romantic meal, the lovebirds talked about their relationship and the future. There was also no shortage of compliments for Emma, who was enthusiastic about it. “We are together all the time and everything is harmonious”said the 25-year-old.
As part of an Instagram question and answer session, her followers asked her whether she and Christian were still a couple. However, she kept a low profile: “We can’t reveal it until December 23rd.” But she has one answer Kiss photo attached. An indication that their tender little plant of love endured?
Jenny and Martin: Not together anymore?
Already during the During their honeymoon in Uruguay, the two clashed again and again. After returning there was one at the train station heated discussion and Martin decided not to accompany Jenny but to spontaneously drive home. There was then radio silence for a few days.
“It doesn’t feel right for me to continue this,” said Martin in an individual interview, who would like to end the marriage experiment on TV. Sounds like it’s on one divorce run out.
Desiree and Marco: “S“We’re not deeply in love yet”
Jamaica was Desiree and Marco’s honeymoon destination. But he wanted to do it both there and in Marco’s hometown of Dresden Don’t skip the spark (yet). The 37-year-old doesn’t like Marco enough to communicate: “In principle, I prefer men who are a bit more extroverted.”
Desiree interprets the fact that Marco asks so few questions as: Disinterest. ““Something is blocking him so that he can’t be completely himself,” she suspects. When asked by a friend of her newlywed husband how things would work out, she replied: “Nope, not deeply in love yet. We’re not in that phase yet.”
Nevertheless, there are many similarities – are they enough for the future?
Francisca and Kevin: Signs pointed to separation
At first it seemed to be a “perfect match” because Kevin was “overwhelmed” when he saw Francisca in the wedding dress and the 30-year-old was also enthusiastic about her husband. But in the honeymoon it happened in Vietnam big scandal and the woman from Baden-Württemberg packed her bags disappointed.
“I hope that this distance and the fact that I can withdraw will give us a new chance,” he said Francisca. The big finale will show whether the couple has finally separated or wants to keep trying together.
