HEARTBROKEN Cameron Menzies crashed out of the World Darts Championship after a hard-fought first round match against Leonard Gates.
The Rangers-daft darts star35, left the Ally Pally stage in tears after being hounded by the London crowd throughout the match.

He was greeted with chants of “Scotland get battered everywhere they go” during his walk-on and continued to receive a lot of stick from fans throughout the clash.
Menzies, who is the partner of Fallon Sherrock, looked visibly upset during the last set before going down 3-1.
He became more frustrated as the match went on before leaving the stage in a flood of tears when his World Championship dream was shattered by the USA star.
Just minutes after the defeat, he posted a picture of his ill dad Ricky in hospital saying “this is all”.
Menzies recently admitted to SunSport about seeing a sports psychologist to help him deal with nerves and the heat of the moment.
Ex-World Champ Glen Durrant said: “It’s just not happening on the stage, he’s full of emotion. It’s something that he’s going to have to workout and find a solution why he doesn’t play as well on the stage as on the floor.
“He’s extremely talented. But at the end it was a little worrying. He was getting upset, whether the heat was getting to him. It was a pretty bizarre ending.”
Fans watching on from the TV were left furious with the Scot’s treatment in front of the ruthless Ally Pally crowd.
Some punters have branded the crowd’s barrage of shouts towards Menzies as a “disgrace“.
One fan wrote: “Absolutely disgraceful behaviour at Ally Pally towards Cameron Menzies was awful to watch.”
Another agreed: “Shameful behaviour from the so called fans towards Cameron Menzies during that match. Disgraceful.”

Someone else said: “That was heartbreaking to watch. Really hope Cameron Menzies is ok.”
A fourth wrote: “I love watching the darts but I didn’t enjoy that match, not nice to see a player struggling with his emotions like that. I hope Cameron Menzies is ok!”
A fifth added: “That was hard to watch Cameron Menzies go through that. The big stage got the better of him tonight.”
Gates took an early lead in the match with astounding 138, 120 and 85 finishes to win the first set.
Menzies battled back but was trailing 2-1 in sets as Gates kept finding a last dart finish to win legs.
The last set was a real mess for the Scot as his emotions got the better of him and Gates soon wrapped it up.
