Barça's 1×1 against Leganés at half-time

Smoothie

The Alicante goalkeeper saved a goal from Munir in the second minute but in the subsequent play he was beaten by a header from Sergio. He is becoming more and more attentive to being a libero. In the second half he had no work.

Jules Koundé, Defensa5

Offensive

The French defender wants to recover his best version and constantly offered himself in attack. His breakaway effort in the 25th minute seemed typical of a Raphinha-style striker. Olmo assisted him in the 51st minute but Jules missed the shot on a clear chance. He consistently reached the baseline. He missed a goal that a footballer of his size cannot allow.

Eric Garcia, Defensa6

Motivated

Martorell's was the great novelty in Flick's team. Just when Araujo is already recovered, Eric has had an opportunity to play in his natural position as a right center back. He was one of the most in tune. He was fast, very focused and with a special degree of motivation. He made no mistakes and always anticipated the visiting players.

Íñigo Martínez, Defensa5

Correct

The Basque central defender had a reasonable understanding with Eric García. He made a mistake in the 37th minute that could have cost him the second goal. He had little defensive work.

Alejandro Balde, Defensa4

Insipid

Against a closed rival, the depth of Barça's left back is a necessary argument to break Leganés' defensive structure. Balde tried it all with drives and plays typical of an offensive winger. After an interesting first half they went downhill after the break in an alarming way.

Marc Casadó, Centrocampista5

Precipitate

The one from Sant Pere de Vilamajor always performs at a high level although against Lega it was clearly from more to less. Against Pedri who was looking to secure the passes, Marc dropped off in attack trying to connect with the attackers. It started strong but lost steam surprisingly. In the second half he was too imprecise.

Pedri, Centrocampista6

Cerebral

The canary has once again left details of his class but he seemed less imaginative than usual. He never rushed or lost his calm or judgment, but he lacked the skill to generate clear scoring chances. He didn't find partners who understood his game. It was the most redeeming thing in a day to forget.

Dani Olmo, Centrocampista5

Inaccurate

His presence between the lines was constant but unproductive. He headed wide in one of the most dangerous actions. He is not at his best although he always gives the sensation of being an unbalancing weapon. He was much more imprecise than is normal for him. His failure to finish in added time is very strange for a player of his class. He improved in the first moments of the second half but was replaced by Fermín.

Lamine Yamal, Delantero5

Touched

The ability to unbalance Rocafonda's genius did not shine as in other games. He needed to look more one-on-one. He has an increasing tendency to move away from the band and look for interior corridors. He looked for his classic touch with the outside to generate danger. It took too long to shoot on goal. A pass was invented to Olmo that the Terrassa player did not take advantage of. He missed a great chance after cutting in with his left foot and shooting with his right. He surprised again with a magical center with the outside. He ended up injured by a foul he had received in the initial stretch on his ankle.

Robert Lewandowski, Delantero4

Misguided

The Polish striker missed a clear chance in the 9th minute. In the 22nd minute he finished with little danger. With 11 minutes to go before the break, a magical control was invented but the Lega goalkeeper prevented the goal. He was replaced by Ferran. He has lost the success he showed until a couple of weeks ago.

Raphinha, Delantero5

Threatening

The Brazilian winger had the goal very close with a shot against the crossbar. He always gives the impression of accelerating the plays and being involved in the game. He was not good with the centers. They had less space than in previous games due to the Lega's blockade. It generated one last chance that Lamine did not take advantage of. It went from more to less as the minutes progressed.

Ferran Torres, Delantero5

Fickle

He replaced Lewi and was positioned as a center forward. His best action was inventing a great pass for Koundé that the Frenchman did not take advantage of.

Fermín López, Centrocampista5

Thick

He occupied Dani Olmo's place but did not show much success or new ideas. He tried to shoot desperately but had no aim to score.

Pau Cubarsí, Defensa5

Reserved

He came in for Eric García to freshen up the ball's release. He couldn't change the dynamics of the match.

Gavi, Centrocampista5

Accelerated

He brought a lot of desire and courage but it was not enough to turn around Lega's initial goal.

Pau Víctor, Delantero5

Revulsive

He positioned himself as a midfielder and had a forced chance with a header that went wide.
