In this tight championship, LS became the highest ranked French-speaking team thanks to this success acquired at Cornaredo. It was built in the first half thanks to a superb success from gem Alvyn Sanches (10th) and a penalty from Noë Dussenne (45th).
Behind the reassuring and impeccable Letica, the Vaud defense then confirmed its solidity, even if Przybylko reduced the gap in the 69th. Dussenne then allowed the visitors to finish without too much stress by converting a second penalty (85th) before Sène added the score in the 95th, again from the penalty spot!
Despite this defeat, Lugano is autumn champion and takes the lead with 31 points. But Basel and Lausanne are only one length behind while Lucerne and Servette are two points behind. Rarely has the championship seemed so open…
At Letzigrund, Saint-Gall won 2-0 against FC Zurich thanks to Mambimbi (33rd) and Akolo (88th). The Brodeurs move up to 8th place with 25 points and are only two points behind 6th place occupied by FCZ who have been standing still for several weeks.
