Sung by the singers, choristers and other colleagues, and taken up by a large part of the approximately 10,000 people present on the Place d'Austerlitz, the “Dio vi Salvi Regina” came to conclude a ceremony, celebrated by Pope Francis, which will have lasted almost an hour and a half.

Four of the seven verses of the Corsican anthem dedicated to the Virgin Mary were sung for the occasion, before the Pope headed to airport to meet the President of the Republic, then to fly to Rome.
