Fabien Claude, Quentin Fillon Maillet, Eric Perrot, Emilien Jacquelin, over 4 x7.5 km, this was the composition this Sunday of the tricolor relay.

Fabien Claude started this relay well with a flawless shooting. The Jura native Quentin Fillon Maillet did the same on prone and standing shots. He hands over to Eric Perrot with a 27-second lead over Norway.

Eric Perrot, third French torchbearer, will make the Norwegian Johannes Boe tremble on the shooting range. The two men are neck and neck, but the Frenchman draws the quickest. France is still leading the relay, with an 18 precious second advantage, quickly regained unfortunately by the Norwegian during the last relay handover.

Émilien Jacquelin, the final French torchbearer, has the destiny of the race in his hands. He gets behind the Norwegian Vebjoern Soerum, but the Nordic is dazzling on the prone shot. Jacquelin draws twice and loses 18 seconds on his opponent.

The Norwegian is out of pick balls, and must take a 150m penalty shot. Émilien Jacquemin has a 15 second lead which must be kept on skis. He will be the first to cross the finish line.

This men's World Cup relay therefore goes to France ahead of Norway (at 49 seconds), and Sweden (at 1'59 seconds).

A great day for the Blues. This morning, the French women's team finished in second place in the 4×6 km relay, which they dominated for a long time, before Lou Jeanmonnot, the last relay runner, carried out a cruel penalty lap.
