Darian Males scored the equalizer to make it 1-1.

The first half is over. The Bernese were caught cold in the opening minutes. Kutesa scored to give Geneva the lead in the 6th minute. That brought back bad memories of the desolate first half against Sion. But YB fought and got back into the game and combined through the Geneva defense in the 37th minute. In the end, Males just had to push in. Even after that, YB showed morale and was very close to the opening goal. That gives us confidence for the second half.

Itten and Ganvoula whirl through the opponent’s half of the pitch. Ultimately, Ganvoula cannot control the ball and loses it. Still a nice push just before the half-time whistle.

Then the Servette defense suddenly starts to wobble. Blum comes to the end. However, his shot flies over the goal.
