The results of the beauty contest have been revealed. According to this information, Miss Martinique was the jury’s favorite, while Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais won over the public.
Crowned Miss France 2025 on Saturday December 14, Miss Martinique, Angélique Angarni-Filopon, won over the jury, but the public mainly supported the first runner-up, Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais, Sabah Aïb, as the results of the competition, published by the show’s bailiff, Maître Simonin and relayed by BFMTV.
According to the summary of the points awarded by the viewers and the seven members of the jury to the fifteen pre-selected regional candidates and the five finalists, the public first placed Miss Guadeloupe, Moïra André, in the lead during the first round, then Miss Nord-Pas -de-Calais, Sabah Aïb, during the second.
Viewers then voted for Miss Martinique in second place, followed by Miss Guadeloupe, Miss Corsica and Miss Côte d’Azur.
The public ranking:
- Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais
- Miss Martinique
- Miss Guadeloupe
- Miss Corse
- Miss Côte d’Azur
An all-female jury
For their part, the preferences of the jury, entirely female, were different. During the first round, Miss Corsica collected the maximum points. But, after the second round, the jury chaired by Sylvie Vartan placed Miss Martinique in first position, followed by Miss Corsica, Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais, Miss Guadeloupe and Miss Côte d’Azur.
The jury’s ranking:
- Miss Martinique
- Miss Corse
- Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais
- Miss Guadeloupe
- Miss Côte d’Azur
The two rankings are different, but the votes of the jury and the public each count for 50% of the final score of the candidates. This allowed Miss Martinique to win the crown, with 9 points (4 from the public and 5 from the jury), against 8 points (5 from the public and 3 from the jury) for Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais.
At 34, Angélique Angarni-Filopon becomes Miss France 2025 and the first Miss to be in her thirties since the age limit was removed two years ago. She is also the first Miss Martinique to win this title since the creation of the competition.
