A dramatic road accident occurred shortly before 2:00 p.m. in the department of Haute-Saône in Frotey-lès-Vesoul between a car and a heavy goods vehicle. Here's what we know.

The accident occurred early in the afternoon on the RN19. According to the first elements of the firefighters, a car which was driving in the direction Lure-Vesoul collided with a truck, in a sector limited to 80 km/h. The frontal impact was terrible. It took more than an hour to extract the victims.
The weather conditions were good. The car veered off course and collided with the truck which tried to avoid it.

The truck ended its journey on the shoulder. There were four people in the black Audi A3 which crashed under the truck. Two men aged 27 and 36, a woman aged 26 and a baby, a little girl aged four months. None survived the shock. The victims, of Sudanese nationality, were residents of Haute-Saône. Their age and identity have not yet been specified.
The baby, a little girl, was in absolute emergency. The emergency services were unable to resuscitate her.

An accident occurred behind it, involving two other vehicles. Four people were lightly injured and were taken to Vesoul hospital. The truck driver is shocked. All are taken care of by the medical-psychological emergency unit as soon as deployed.
The Vesoul and Lure firefighters intervened in this road tragedy. The Vesoul police are responsible for determining the precise circumstances of this fatal accident. Exceeding ? Discomfort, mechanical problem? The scientific police have carried out numerous surveys to try to understand what happened.

This morning in Doubs, a dramatic accident also occurred. A young 21-year-old driver lost control of her car on an icy road. The car fell into a 10 to 15 meter ravine. The young woman, a resident of Vuillafans, did not survive.
