The winner is and will remain… TF 1! Saturday December 14, the commercial channel, as every year, was well ahead of the competition thanks to the broadcast of the annual Miss election. Presented by the essential Jean-Pierre Foucault for the 30th time, the first part of this 95th edition organized at the Arena Futuroscope near (Vienna), brought together 7.43 million French people until around midnight, according to Médiamétrie . This represents 42.6% of the entire public, without forgetting a stratospheric market share on the commercial target of Women responsible for purchases aged under fifty (FRDA-50) of 64.1%, allowing the headlines to be ultra-dominant on this indicator.

The rest of the show was also very well attended. The coronation of Angélique Angarni-Filopon, 34, attracted 6.04 million viewers until 12:50 a.m., for an audience share of 61.2% and a FRDA-50 market share of 69.5%. A peak of 8.44 million was even recorded at 11 p.m. Scores in line with those of last year. The election of Miss France 2024 was then followed until midnight by 7.54 million curious people, for a 41.9% audience share (PDA), before the coronation of Ève Gilles attracted only 6.14 million viewers (57.9% PDA).

If TF 1 can party this Sunday morning, it's less rosy for the rest of the channels. The latter must be satisfied with the crumbs. In this exceptional context, France 3 is doing well with a rebroadcast of “Mystères de la tide”, a French detective film with Garance Thénault and Julie Gayet. The latter was followed by 3.29 million curious people, or 16.6% of the public.

France 2 is behind by banking on “And does that make you laugh?” », a documentary series on popular French comedies. The first two new episodes of the evening made 1.32 million curious people smile, for a PDA of 6.6%. Like last week, France 5 is ahead of M 6 with its magazine “Échappées belles”. Ismaël Khelifa's unique trip to Quebec transported 793,000 globetrotters, or 4.0% of the entire public.

At a very low level, the detective series “Irrational” continues its descent into hell. Played by Jesse L. Martin and Maahra Hill, the first two new episodes of the evening intrigued only 717,000 fans (3.7%). Last week, American fiction had already attracted only 810,000 people (4.4% PDA).
