The Criminal Chamber of First Instance of the Casablanca Court of Appeal ruled to distribute 24 years in prison to those involved in a real estate fraud case in which Abdullah Boudriga, the brother of former Raja Casablanca club president Mohamed Boudriga, was involved, along with others.
In the early hours of Saturday morning, the court convicted the main defendants, “A. Boudriqa” and the notary, who are prosecuted in the case of the real estate property called “Bilad Hada” subject to real estate drawing number “49/11384” in Tit Mellil, were sentenced to six years in prison for each of them.
The court also imposed the same prison sentence against the defendant, “Al-Batoul,” the adopted daughter of the property owner, and one of the brokers named “A. Selsouli,” while the “Alami” mediator was sentenced to three months in prison. B., while it acquitted a middleman named “Al-Qarawani” who was suspected of being behind the recruitment of the “forged woman” and claiming that she was the owner of the seized property.
The case, which preoccupied local public opinion, began with a complaint filed by an heiress to the “Bilad Sharp” property, in which she accused the convicts of forging documents to seize the land owned by her mother.
