Never far from her sewing machine. At only 25 years old, Camille Blasco is a fashion designer. This year, against four other stylists, it was she who was selected to create the regional costume of Miss Limousin.
I wanted to work on porcelain and Limoges porcelain. So, I went with a fabric with porcelain patterns, with pretty pearl and rhinestone work.
Camille Blasco, fashion designer
Two hundred hours of work for this challenge. The main color of the dress recalls the green nature of Limousin, so dear to the designer's heart.
“I was born here. I lived my entire childhood there so yes, it’s important for me to represent this region. It’s a source of immense pride, it’s a show that I’ve been watching since I was little. These are costumes that always make you dream.”marvels Camille Blasco in her workshop in Ussel.
Each year, in addition to the crown, the Miss France committee awards the prize for best regional costume. Limousin won it in 2021.
That year, we won the famous regional costume scarf.
Nadine Preece, Miss France Limousin delegate
In the world of Miss for 15 years, Nadine Preece knows the jury's criteria.
“When the Miss appears in her costume, in two minutes, we must know the region she represents, says Nadine Preece. So the costume has to speak about the region.”
A spotlight on local knowledge, with a dress created by a Usseloise, worn by a Bortoise.
It remains a regional costume, therefore created by someone from our region and worn by our regional Miss. For us, it's perfect!

Emma Gregoire and her regional costume will be scrutinized from every angle by millions of viewers and the jury this Saturday, December 14 at the Futuroscope Arena in Poitiers. A welcome spotlight on the talents of Limousin.
