Arnaud Ducret explains why he did not have children with his wife
Asked by Isabelle Ithurburu in 50’ InsideSaturday December 14, Arnaud Ducret spoke in particular about his life as a couple and his blended family. “You are very much in love I believe, have you ever thought about having children together?”asked the presenter. A little embarrassed, Arnaud Ducret first pointed out that this question was “very intimate”before finally answering.
“I would have loved to have another child… but she lived her life as a woman. She already has triplets, and then she has a pole dancing school, she does things”he continued. His job as an actor – which requires him to travel frequently – also played a role in this decision not to have additional children. “She told me: ‘You’re going on set, I’m here, all alone’”he confided. “I experienced it, I know what it’s like, so I have to respect his choice. But I would have loved it”he added. Confidences without tongue in cheek.
