Popularity on networks, demographics…
A few hours before the famous evening, it is not easy to make a prediction, as the criteria for deciding between the contenders are numerous (general knowledge quiz, fashion show, appearance and outfit on the different thematic tables choreographed throughout the evening, taking speech, ability to convince jury and public, etc.). However, at a time when progress is not stopping, an AI (artificial intelligence) is trying to unravel the mystery and reveal the name of the future winner before the time, France 3 tells us.
Thus, the company Avisia, a Paris-based firm specializing in data (data analysis), uses an AI tool to predict the final ranking of the Misses, taking into account several parameters such as the popularity of the contenders on social networks, the demographics of French regions which could influence the volume of public votes or even the composition of the jury. “But as with any prediction, these are probabilities. There are favorites, but that does not mean that they will necessarily win,” however, assures Pascal Bizzari, Deputy Managing Director of Avisia, to our colleagues.
And the big winner is…
According to Avisia's predictions, Miss Guadeloupe, alias Moïra André, will be dedicated Saturday evening alongside presenter Jean-Pierre Foucault. Artificial Intelligence puts it in the lead with a 68% chance of victory. Its assets: a highly valued image on social networks with, for example, 300 positive X-rated posts (ex-Twitter) mentioned about it, an impression that it also maintains on Instagram and TikTok, where it is also ahead of its competitors.
She would be ahead of Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais, Miss Martinique and her 50,000 followers on Instagram! Behind, we would find Miss Martinique, Miss Guyana, Miss Burgundy and Miss Picardie to complete this predictive top 5, which continues to evolve until the evening.
And Miss Aquitaine and Miss Poitou-Charentes?
So if we are to believe artificial intelligence, the South-West will still have to wait to see a miss from the region recognized at the national level, we have to go back to the year 1995 (30 years ago! ) to find traces of the coronation of Bordelaise Mélody Vilbert, the last Miss France from the South-West.
According to Avisia, Miss Aquitaine, aka Laura Marque will surely have her say in the final victory since beyond her 16,400 subscribers on Instagram (she doubled this total in one month), the comments concerning her are very positive on this network (92%) with an average of 1,600 likes under his publications. However, it is a little worse on TikTok (65% positive comments) and even less on X (formerly Twitter, 65%). Compared to the favorites, although she is rather popular, she does not generate enough messages posted on her name. This is half as much as the favorite Miss Guadeloupe for example.
