Things have not been going well for RSC Anderlecht in recent weeks in terms of injuries. After Killian Sardella and Mario Stroeykens had already dropped out, they are now in danger of having to do without Yari Verschaeren.
Due to Stroeykens’ injury, Verschaeren seemed to get his chance with the Purple & White in the coming weeks and was also allowed to start the match against Slavia Prague. However, things went wrong for the midfielder halfway through the first half.
After a duel, Verschaeren went to the ground and landed on his shoulder, which he has had problems with in the past. After a short injury treatment, Verschaeren tried to continue playing Football and managed to score himself, but in the end he had to abandon the match.
For Hubert, it is hoped that Verschaeren will not be absent for too long or the Anderlecht coach will have to puzzle over the purple and white again.
