Manchester City once again failed to win their match as they faced Juventus in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.

The game in Turin ended 2–0 in favour of Juve.

There were no goals in the first half, but Dušan Vlahović and Weston McKennie scored to earn the Italian giants all three points.

In North London, Bukayo Saka scored a brace as Arsenal crushed Monaco 3–0 at the Emirates.

Kai Havertz also got on the scoresheet, as Mikel Arteta’s men recorded back-to-back wins in the competition.

In other games, Barcelona won 3–2 at Borussia Dortmund, edged Sturm Graz 3–2, Feyenoord beat Slavia Prague 4–2, and Atlético Madrid defeated Slovan Bratislava 3–1.

Barcelona and Arsenal have now moved into the top three in the Champions League table following their respective wins on Wednesday night.

The Gunners now have 13 points, the same as Bayer Leverkusen, Inter Milan, Aston Villa, , and Lille.

In the bottom half of the table, Real Madrid’s 3–1 win at Atalanta takes them up to 20th position.

The holders are two places above Manchester City.

After each club has played eight matches, the top eight move into the last 16, while those ranked between ninth and 24th go to the play-offs, trying to join them.
