At least 250 people demonstrate in Clermont-Ferrand
In Clermont-Ferrand, the meeting is set at Place des Carmes at 10 a.m. On site, our journalist counted at least 250 people mobilized, including Michelin employees. The demonstration starts from Place des Carmes, in front of the Bibendum head office, which plans to close two factories in France by 2026.
Also present in the procession are students, worried about possible savings on the higher education budget, and the increase in registration fees.
