Head to the Chiphel forum where we find the first leaked results of the future Arc B580 from Intel. Sure enough, the card shows up on Time Spy where it posts a solid score, a few percentage points behind NVIDIA's RTX 3080. Finally, would we have a nice surprise with this card? Hmmm.
Arc B580 : un solide score Time Spy !
Let's not beat around the bush and get to the facts. Thus, Intel's future graphics card displays a serious graphics score of 14,719 pts. If the latter turns out to be correct, we find here a very solid map. Indeed, for comparison, an Arc A770, the largest Intel card of the previous generation, displays an average score of 12,859 according to the 3DMark database (scores vary depending on the entries). This therefore positions the newcomer on average 14.5% ahead of the older generation of the brand.
Faced with the competition now, clearly, the small RTX 4060 finds itself completely abandoned. Once again, the 3D Mark database displays an average score of 10,354 pts for this card compared to 12,859 pts for the Ti model. In fact, we find a solid competitor which is positioned respectively 42.2% and 14.5% more efficient than NVIDIA's offer.

Worse still, the B580, on Time Spy, comes dangerously close to AMD's RTX 3080 and RX 7700 XT. These two cards have an average score of 16,059 pts and 15,341 pts. Thus, the new blue card shows a delay compared to these models of 4.1% compared to 7700 XT and 8.3% compared to the RTX 3080.
All that remains to be seen is whether these scores will also translate into games. If so, even at around €370, that would make it a very good alternative after all. Currently, the RTX 4060 Ti can be found around €430 for the first prices, so if we find a B580 at €370 offering at least equivalent performance with 50% of VRAM plus, there is a move to play. But for the results in play, we will have to wait until the testing embargo is lifted!
