Today, Wednesday, the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) announced that Saudi Arabia has won the bid to host the 2034 World Cup, making the Kingdom the first Arab country to host the tournament alone under the new system, with the participation of 48 teams.
The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) had announced that Saudi Arabia’s bid to host the 2034 World Cup had received a rating of 419.8 out of 500, which is the highest technical rating given by the International Federation in history to a bid submitted to host the World Cup.
This comes as a new Saudi achievement that embodies the pioneering role and the qualitative and exceptional shift that the Kingdom is experiencing in various fields, including the sports field, in accordance with clear and comprehensive visions and goals set forth in the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
