Still no trace of Morgane. The 13-year-old girl disappeared on November 25 in Côtes-d'Armor, , when she left her home in Pabu early in the morning to go to college.

His mother launched a new appeal for help on her Facebook account on Friday December 6. “Anyone who saw him on the morning of Monday, November 25, 2024. Remember one detail perhaps, which can really help us. Don't keep this detail to yourself, it can be very important to us. To find our beloved daughter”she begs in a post accompanied by a photo of the young girl, and the call for witnesses.

The latter had already spoken to her daughter on Monday, a week after her disappearance. “Come back to us, give us a sign, Dad and I will pick you up no matter where you are. We miss you, your brother, your sister and all the rest of the family and friends around us. I love you my daughter”, she posted on Facebook, before posting another message of love addressed to Morgane on December 4.

“A real discomfort”

The search to find the young girl, who had suggested “disturbing remarks” before its disappearance, are still continuing. All avenues are still being explored, declared prosecutor Nicolas Heitz during a press briefing on Monday announcing the opening of a judicial investigation. Some of Morgane's classmates heard by the investigators had suggested that the young girl “could know a real discomfort“. They even mentioned “scarifications that she would have inflicted on herself”specified the Saint-Brieuc prosecutor.

A crumpled paper was also found by the gendarmes in Morgane's basket “where it said “dad, mom, sorry, I’m leaving””. On social networks, the schoolgirl had entered “in relation to older individuals”. “These people were all interviewed and their homes were searched” more “none of these hearings made it possible to provide relevant information on the location of the teenager”emphasized Nicolas Heitz.

A 21-year-old man, resident in Drôme, was notably identified as having created a Snapchat account for Morgane. Several child pornography images not concerning Morgane were discovered there and the man was placed in police custody for these facts, the magistrate said on Monday.
