A mother is suing Mattel for accidentally listing a porn site link on Wicked doll boxes.

On Nov. 10, consumers noticed that the new Wicked movie-inspired dolls had an unfortunate detail included on the back of the box. Instead of linking to WickedMovie.com, the web address led to an adult site.

Now, a South Carolina mother is suing Mattel — the company responsible for the dolls — over “emotional distress,” new court documents show. She filed a proposed class-action lawsuit in federal court in Los Angeles on Dec. 3.

The lawsuit states that the mother bought a Wicked doll for her daughter, who then followed the web address on the box to the porn site. Her daughter then showed her mother the graphic content on the site, by which they were both “horrified,” per the lawsuit, which further states, “If plaintiff had been aware of such an inappropriate defect in the product, she would not have purchased it.”

The lawsuit alleges Mattel was negligent, sold products unfit for sale and violated California consumer-protection laws.

“Plaintiff seeks to recover damages because the Products are adulterated, worthless, and unfit for its intended and advertised age-appropriate audience,” the lawsuit stated.

Mattel declined to comment on pending litigation to Variety but provided a statement about the product to the outlet, saying “The Wicked Dolls have returned for sale with correct packaging at retailers online and in stores to meet the strong consumer demand for the products. The previous misprint on the packaging in no way impacts the value or play experience provided by the product itself in the limited number of units sold before the correction.”

The mistake appeared on the singing dolls based on Wicked‘s main characters Elphaba and Glinda, played by Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande in the film.

Wickedwhich made $114 million in its first weekend in theaters following a Nov. 22 release date, continued to defy box office gravity as it made another $80 million this weekend.
