Yet the big winner of the event, Charlotte was ultimately not chosen by her comrades during the final vote. The young Belgian, however, refuses to see this outcome as a defeat.
“I don't like the word defeat, everything I have done in the adventure is for me a great victory. Thibault won 100,000 euros and won Koh-Lanta, but I cannot experience what I experienced as a defeat. I had prepared myself because I knew I wouldn't win. The second Denis Brogniart asked me to choose someone and I cited Thibault, I knew I wouldn't be the winner Koh-Lanta, the cursed tribe,” she told us.

While she knew Thibault was very appreciated by his comrades, Charlotte preferred to choose him instead of Ilyesse, whom she especially did not want to see win, for a reason on which she poured her heart out, for Voici.fr. “I had a resentment against him in relation to the orientation, which I could not overcome. I didn't want to see his face, his smile, in the final with me. I think he wasn't fair, he broke the image I had of him, he broke our bond“, she explained.
