After Ousmane Sonko, the Secretary of State for Urban Planning and Housing, Momath Talla Ndao also announced his resignation from his position as deputy in the National Assembly, in accordance with the legal provisions in force.
“According to article 109 of the Internal Regulations of the National Assembly, the mandate of deputy is incompatible with the status of member of the Government. Therefore, I resigned from my mandate as deputy in favor of my substitute, Abdoulaye Thomas Faye,” he declared on his Facebook page.
Momath Talla Ndao took the opportunity to express his thanks to the populations of the Kaffrine region, particularly those of the districts of Katakel and Gniby, who supported him throughout his journey.
“I remain at the service of the Project, of Senegal, alongside the President of the Republic Bassirou Diomaye Faye and the Head of Government Ousmane Sonko,” he added, thus reaffirming his commitment to the vision and objectives of the executive.
