President of the RN deputies in the National Assembly, Marine Le Pen has made her decision regarding the vote on a motion of censure in the government, her entourage informed BFMTVSunday December 1st. This decision was taken at the end of a meeting, this Sunday evening, between Marine Le Pen and a circle of very close people. The meeting aimed to “set the course of action to be taken and the consequences to be drawn from the declarations of Minister Laurent Saint-Martin”.
The latter affirmed that the text was no longer subject to change.
A little earlier, however, Prime Minister Michel Barnier said “remain open to dialogue”. Different voices which pushed Marine Le Pen to judge that the government camp is “taking us for a ride”, and that “they would have to surprise me for me to change my mind and I don't believe they are capable of it”, she said, calling Matignon's statement a “masquerade.”
Multiple threats of censorship in recent weeks
In recent weeks, the RN had threatened a motion of censure against Michel Barnier and his government if they did not review the Social Security budget. This must be submitted to the Assembly on Monday December 2.
