It was a little after midnight the firefighters intervened, at the entrance to the long straight at the exit of Ponte Leccia, a few meters from the junction which leads to the village of Piedigriggio.
The young woman, aged 21, who was driving the vehicle and was alone inside, would have left the road without another vehicle being involved in the accident.
She was extricated by emergency services and transported by the Dragon 2B helicopter to Bastia hospital, in a state of absolute emergency.
