Friday, in a press release, the public prosecutor of Saint-Brieuc, Nicolas Heitz, stressed that a heated discussion had broken out between her and her parents last weekend, about the use of social networks, and that the teenager's father had broken his daughter's phone and taken her Sim card. Did this tense situation encourage Morgane to leave the family home? The investigation will have to determine this.

Morgane is, according to the people who know her and whom we interviewed, a pleasant but fairly reserved young girl. “She has a mature side, ahead of her age. She’s an intelligent person,” comments a man who met her in the sporting world. Morgane is a tennis fan. She is a member of the Entente tennis club Saint-Agathon Pabu. In recent months, she has followed ball collector courses to be able to access the Roland-Garros courts in 2025. On Sunday, she had to go with her parents to Saint-Malo (35), to participate in new selections in view to obtain this sesame.

An old history of harassment?

Another person, who was able to meet her in an association, speaks of a pleasant but rather withdrawn and discreet teenager. “I noticed that she used her phone very often while the other children stayed in groups. She was addicted to her cell phone and isolated herself from others. »Several months ago, young Morgane mentioned a story of harassment. “She talked about it in the past tense. So, I concluded that the problem had been resolved. »

In addition to tennis, Morgane is also a dancer within the Korriganed Pañvrid, the Celtic circle of Pommerit-le-Vicomte (22). She attended fourth grade at the Albert-Camus college in Grâces, near Guingamp. According to an acquaintance interviewed on Friday by Le Télégramme, she had a boyfriend: he, a young adult, was interviewed this week by investigators. But so far nothing has been held against him.

The eldest of the siblings

In his press release, the prosecutor specified that Morgane has never previously run away and that her parents describe good relations in the family. Morgane has a brother and a sister. She is the eldest of the siblings.

His father, Yoann, is a truck driver. And her mother, Aurore, after working in mass distribution, is an employee at a local caterer. They live in a pavilion near the Pro Park, the training center for En Avant Guingamp footballers.

On social networks, her mother regularly posts messages hoping that they will be read by Morgane. “I have no more words to describe how much we miss you. It's been six days since your voice no longer resonated in the house. We are still looking for you, my darling,” she wrote on Saturday morning. His father wanted to thank the many people who participated in the search on Friday: “You came in numbers to support us. There are no words to describe your gesture.
