Match report:
In a thrilling Bundesliga clash, FC Bayern Munich managed a 1-1 draw against Borussia Dortmund, showing resilience in the absence of star striker Harry Kane, who had to leave the field due to injury in the 33rd minute. The game took a turn at the start when Byone Gittens scored the goal for Dortmund just before Kane’s substitution, putting Bayern 0-1 behind.
However, Jamal Musiala became Bayern’s hero when he headed Olise’s perfectly placed shot into the goal in the 84th minute, securing a point for his team. This crucial equalizer not only maintained Bayern’s unbeaten streak in the Bundesliga, but also eased the pressure that had been building as they tried to maintain their position at the top of the table, seven points clear of Eintracht Frankfurt.

The start of the game was electric, with Bayern looking to attack but were soon shaken by Gittens’ brilliant individual effort which came in the 27th minute. Gittens, a key figure for Dortmund, demonstrated his ability to exploit even the smallest defensive mistakes.
Even without their prolific goalscorer Kane – who has scored 64 goals in 64 competitive games for Bayern and 20 in just 19 games this season – the team struggled to make a comeback. However, their efforts to equalize were hampered by the excellent goalkeeping of Gregor Kobel, who parried a spectacular shot from Thomas Müller early in the second half.
The drama increased as Leroy Sané and Müller both had opportunities that were thwarted, with Sané’s attempt going wide and Müller’s shot being saved by Kobel. The pressure continued to mount as Bayern constantly pushed Dortmund on the defensive.

With the substitution of Kingsley Coman and a more attacking style of play, the Bayern players began to create more chances, which ultimately led to Musiala’s decisive goal. His header, reminiscent of Kane’s finish, demonstrated the 20-year-old’s calm and skill under pressure.
