Timothee Chalamet opened up about some of the roles that he was not able to book.
The 28-year-old actor is famed for his performances in Movies such as Dune, Wonka and his forthcoming Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown.
While he’s found his spot within Hollywood, Timothy recently admitted that he had a very different vision for his career and was unable to book at least two roles in successful franchises.

Speaking to Rolling Stone U.K., Timothy explained that he dreamed of being an action star in the early days of his career. While trying to make that happen, he auditioned for projects such as Divergent and Maze Runnerwhich starred the likes of Theo James and Dylan O’Brien.
“I would always get the same feedback,” he recalled of those auditions. “‘Oh, you don’t have the right body.’ I had an agent call me once and say, ‘I’m tired of getting the same feedback. We’re gonna stop submitting you for these bigger projects, because you’re not putting on weight.’ I was trying to put on weight. I couldn’t! I basically couldn’t. My metabolism or whatever the f-ck couldn’t do it.”
Timothy noted that he “was knocking on one door that wouldn’t open.”
“So I went to what I thought was a more humble door, but actually ended up being explosive for me,” he said.
