Sanremo. The fracture within the Sanremo Domani civic list, the political legacy of former mayoral candidate Gianni Rolando, is accentuated. The two elected councilors, Marco Damiano e Monica Rodatoday made official their departure from the association born after the elections. The decision comes following disagreements on the political and organizational line.
Damiano and Rodà contest the association for having taken public positions without consulting them, such as today's announcement of a possible complaint to the Court of Auditors against the Municipality for the management of appeals on former employees involved in the Stachanov investigation.
The tensions had already emerged during the electoral campaign for the regional elections, when the association supported the candidacy of Stefania Mostardini on Marco Bucci's lists without the involvement of the council group. Damiano and Rodà will temporarily retain the name of the advisory group while waiting to evaluate joining the mixed group.
