Barcelona Legends enjoyed a friendly against Real Madrid in a special Clasico in Qatar on Thursday.
The Catalans had plenty of star quality in their line-up with Eric Abidal, Gaizka Mendieta, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, Ludovic Giuly and David Villa among the starters.
Barca dominated the first half and went ahead when Giuly crossed the ball for Juan Pablo Sorin to slot home at the far post after eight minutes.
Barca doubled their lead through the one and only Ronaldinho. The brilliant Brazilian stepped up and curled a wonderful free-kick over the wall and into the back of the net.
Real Madrid pulled one back in the second half through F*go and then levelled when Edwin Congo stepped onto a loose pass and rolled the ball home.
Barcelona should have won it late on when they won a penalty after Ricardo Quaresma went down in the box but Patrick Kluivert saw his effort saved as the game ended all square.
The two sides are due to face off again soon in Tokyo on December 15 in a match which will see Andres Iniesta and Xavi appear for Barcelona Legends along with Javier Mascherano and Rafa Marquez.
