The timetable changes on December 15th. Public transport throughout the canton will be expanded, especially on weekends and evenings. Numerous post bus lines in the Brugg area also benefit from this. What changes.

The timetable change on December 15th is a Switzerland-wide matter. In Aargau, leisure traffic is being expanded primarily. This not only affects the train, but also the Postbus timetable. According to a statement from the PostBus media office of the Swiss Post AG, public transport and thus the PostBus routes will also be expanded in the Brugg area, especially on weekends and evenings. From the timetable change on December 15th, there will be additional courses for passengers in the region on several PostBus lines.

As far as the Postbus line 357 Gibenstorf–Turgi–Siggenthal–Würenlingen–Park Innovaare is concerned, a regular timetable on the Siggenthal–Würenlingen route replaces the previous call taxi in the evening. The buses on line 362 Brugg–Mellingen Heitersberg will now run every half hour instead of every hour on Saturday from 1 p.m. On Sunday an additional post bus runs from Brugg at 6.05 a.m. and from Mellingen Heitersberg station at 6.29 a.m.

The Brugg–Birr line changes every half hour on Sundays

The buses on line 363 Brugg–Mülligen now run every hour on Sundays. On line 364 Brugg–Birr, the quarter-hour service will be extended to 9:05 p.m. from Monday to Saturday. On Saturday there is even a quarter-hour service from 6:50 a.m. to 8:45 p.m. On Sundays, the postbuses run half-hourly instead of hourly after 7:35 p.m. until the end of operations.

The following changes will be made to line 368 Brugg–Bad Schinznach: An additional postbus will run from Bodenackerstrasse at 5:47 a.m. from Monday to Friday and at 6:47 a.m. on Saturday. On Saturday and Sunday an additional post bus leaves Brugg at 7:05 a.m. and Schinznach at 7:42 a.m. Buses on line 371 Brugg–Schinznach Dorf now run every half hour on Sundays. The operating hours from Brugg will be extended until 11.35 p.m. The buses on line 372 Brugg–Bözberg–Linn and line 374 Brugg–Mönthal will now run hourly throughout Sunday.

The Brugg-Riniken night bus route will also run in the opposite direction from December 15th.

The range of night buses is also being expanded

There are also changes to the night buses. The N40 Brugg–Riniken line will now also be served in the opposite direction from Riniken via Umiken to Brugg. The N42 Brugg–Thalheim night bus route is now offered in both directions. The service from Schinznach Bad is no longer available, as Schinznach Bad is now served by the SN1. The night bus route N43 Brugg–Birr–Othmarsingen will be extended to Othmarsingen, train station and will now be offered in both directions. The Birr train station stop is not served. The post bus at 3.45 a.m. from Brugg only goes to Birr, train station. The post bus at 2.06 a.m. from Othmarsingen, train station goes via Scherz, village square back to Brugg. The post bus at 3:06 a.m. from Othmarsingen train station goes back to Brugg via Birrhard–Mülligen.
