Martin Ajdari appointed president of Arcom

The current director general of the Opera has been appointed president of the Regulatory Authority for Audiovisual and Digital Communication (Arcom). He will succeed Roch-Olivier Maistre in January 2025.

Senior civil servant Martin Ajdari, 55 years old and current director general of the Paris Opera, has been appointed president of the Audiovisual and Digital Communication Regulatory Authority (Arcom), the Elysée announced this Thursday, November 28, 2024 in a press release.

Martin Ajdari, who has held leadership positions in several cultural institutions and in audiovisual media, will replace the current president, Roch-Olivier Maistre, whose mandate ends in January 2025.
