“For sale, no longer useful”
Coming without their tractors, the farmers erected a concrete block wall in front of INRAE, a symbolic operation to demonstrate their dissatisfaction with the establishment, the usefulness of which they question. “Today, INRAE has a budget of one billion euros per year, it is supposed to be a partner of the agricultural world, but nothing has come of it at all for 50 years” , explained on the microphone of France Blue Paris, Victor Rabiergeneral secretary of Young Farmers in Île-de-France.
A banner with the message “For sale, no longer useful. Lease to be transferred, savings made: 1.1 billion » was hung on the facade.
Farmers denounce in particular banning the use of certain products imposed on them, without alternative solutions being proposed. This gathering ended around 7:30 a.m.
