Born in 1986 – and born in Galatina, in Salento – Alessandra Amoroso he dueted with one of his favorite artists already in the summer of 2009, and then performed alongside him again in an episode of the program he hosted in November of the same year. The artist’s collection of duets is now almost boundless. Yet, although it may be difficult to choose, thanks to a small interview given to R101, we can trace – to date – this double anecdote with the value of a sweet memory. This is the pair of duets with Gianni Morandi. First during a concert by Alessandra Amoroso, in May in Ravenna, with the song Grazie Why, and then with Vivo Per Lei on the stage of the program Grazie A Tutti. Always on the radio – and always on the occasion of her birthday, in 2020 – the Salento artist reveals not only the singer, but also what her favorite song is.
This is Clip His Wings, a song which, due to its title, is very similar to a song by Nina Persson, but which instead – despite being, perhaps, one of her lesser-known songs – is a creation of Alessandra Amoroso herself. The song, dated 2010, dates back to the period in which the artist had just emerged from her experience with Maria De Filippi’s broadcast. After the victory at Amici, Alessandra Amoroso released her second album, following Senza Nuvole. His favorite song, Clip His Wingsit is therefore found within Il Mondo In Un Secondo.
Alessandro Amoroso, writing and that time he left for Mexico
The singer born in Galatina, in Salento, has often collaborated with other authors to write the lyrics of her songs. We can take as an example his song Fino A Qui, presented in 2024 at the Sanremo Festival. Alessandra Amoroso – as also reported by GQ Italia – created the lyrics of the song, set in Rome, in collaboration with the authors Alessandro Clemente, Fabio Clemente, Federica Abbate and Jacopo Ettorre. Few people know, however, that the singer also ventured, in 2015, into writing a book. In A Mio Modo Vi Amo, the artist opens himself completely to the reader to talk about love and his dearest “cursed”, heart-pounding “without brakes”as reported on the cover of the book, published by Mondadori.
For its creation, Alessandra Amoroso wanted to share a very important part of herself and for this reason she took advantage of the testimonies of her listeners and then intertwined them with his personal experiences in love. However, another unforgettable experience for the artist dates back to 2014. It is a trip to Mexico during which the singer, in addition to pleasant swimming in the sea, met the president of Sony Latin, a record label that proved fundamental in making her musical creations known in Latin America too.
