Bad evening for Real Madrid, deprived of many starters such as Rodrygo, Vinicius or Tchouaméni and who were no match for Liverpool this Wednesday evening. Logically, the Reds won (2-0) thanks to goals scored by Mac Allister and Gakpo. United in the first half although dominated, Carlo Ancelotti’s men collapsed after the break. While the score was 1-0 on the hour mark, Real Madrid could have turned the match the other way but Kylian Mbappé missed a penalty. Mohamed Salah imitated the French international a few minutes later by also missing a penalty. But no consequences for Liverpool, who took off in the last quarter of an hour.
