The “Summer House of the Stars” is back – and with it a reunion that even the hardened presenter Frauke Ludowig is demanding. From shouting candidates to absurdities like hard-boiled eggs, this meeting is escalating! Between accusations, drama and psychological games, there’s only one thing left: anticipation of the “normal people’s summer house”?
‘Dear Frauke! How can you stand this? Take your legs in your hands and run!’ On Tuesday evening, November 26th, the big reunion of the “Summer House of the Stars” will be shown on RTL and RTL+ at the same time – whoever is meant by “stars”, because the true and only star in this “toxic” constellation of people who For the most part, our Frauke obviously “didn’t have any upbringing.”
Yes, dear reader, you are now welcome to argue that Ludowig is an old hand in the business and has already traded in a completely different caliber. And maybe we say this every year, but: a reunion has never been so bad!
Although Frauke, as usual confident in her moderation, is not dealing with arguments and shouting buoys for the first time, you can tell that this job is anything but easy for her. The former farm shared apartment from Bocholt-Barlo came together once again to take stock. A big problem: Because of the many shouts from individual protagonists, you often didn’t understand what was being said. Frauke’s facial expression as the show progressed: more and more annoyed.
“There’s a lot to work through,” she says. This means, among other things: “the famous knife drama between Sam and Emma”, the “alliance turbulence” or “the big topic of VEGAN”. At the beginning of this “kindergarten” round, “the eternal losers” Sam and Rafi are congratulated. But the winning couple has no reason to be proud of themselves.
What follows is a series of madness in pictures. We see Rafi Rachek, who seems to be screaming non-stop, Tessa Bergmeier, who is obviously suffering a panic attack and leaves the studio, and Gloria Glumac, who gives Umut Tekin two hard-boiled eggs so that he can finally have some.
“We all prostitute ourselves (…) a little bit”
People who don’t have respect demand respect. People who behave like the ax in the woods accuse others of behaving like the ax in the woods. This seems – there is hardly any other way to put it – downright schizophrenic. There’s shouting, one accusation follows the next, and there’s always talk of “reporting” and “cease and desist.”
The viewer breathes a sigh of relief when Frauke announces that there will soon be a “summer house for normal people” for the first time. Yes, please, please! We urgently need to recover from these riot brushes who think they are the center of the world!
During one of the flashbacks, Emma and Umut’s relationship comes into focus again. There is talk of “prostitution” and now Raúl Richter steps in and says: “We all prostitute ourselves a little in this business.” Theresia Fischer, who cannot attend the reunion due to illness, is fiercely represented by her partner Stefan Kleiser.
He still feels defamed by Sam’s “boot boy” Rafi and accuses him of having “no basic morals.” The fronts have hardened, the mood is not running high, it has tipped over a long time ago. Rafi, who loses his temper several times at this reunion, complains that he apologized to Kleiser three times for his verbal outbursts in the summer house. Even another attempt to shake hands with the dentist fails. Rachek then accuses the 59-year-old of never having “dealt with his biography”: “Then you would know that I am a role model for thousands of people.”
Welcome to the “bench of bad parenting”
Occasionally an attempt is made to analyze the candidates or certain situations psychologically, which is redundant because: There is “no common intersection”. Not even when Tessa’s “right-wing, extremist” approach is the subject again. The common consensus is that it is important to draw attention to animal suffering, but please not like this! The “militant” animal rights activist achieved the opposite of what she wanted with her style. She got an important message across completely wrong.
Criticism of her comes primarily from Tobias Pankow, Sarah Kern’s ex-partner. The volunteer hunter is tired of being called “murderer” by the vegan. It is more urgent than ever to give animals a voice, but not by “personally attacking” people. There is also an advert here. Kleiser emphasizes: “You are implementing your vegan world in a radical right-wing manner. If you were Chancellor, we would all have a vegetable garden by now.”
Those who hold back and even switch off mentally come away best from this reunion. There are problems in every relationship. Oliver Sanne says he is naturally lazy, but his partner is very hardworking, but it always depends on whether you argue on equal terms. This was often not the case in the summer house. Two relationships did not withstand the stress test. Sam and Rafi are also accused of a “deal relationship,” which both deny.
Some have grown together through the summer house, others have “blocked each other on Insta”, and it is nothing new that we are dealing with “a business model” here. The summer house is one of the successful reality TV formats. Or as you can also say: Welcome to the “bench of bad upbringing”! And now: TV award for our Frauke please! Although she sat in this Ballaballa round, she demonstrated the quality of being a stayer like no other.
