The Israeli Prime Minister announced that the security cabinet will adopt a ceasefire with Hezbollah “this evening” while warning the Islamist movement of a possible resumption of fighting.

During a speech this Tuesday, November 26, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that the security cabinet will adopt a ceasefire with Hezbollah “this evening”.

The Israeli leader warned that the holding of this agreement depended on the actions of the Islamist movement, supported by Iran. “The war did not end until all objectives, including the return of the northerners to their homes, were achieved,” the Israeli Prime Minister declared at the start of his speech.

“Hezbollah is no longer the same”

“If Hezbollah rearms, breaks the agreement, we will attack it,” warned the Israeli leader.

“We took Hezbollah back about ten years (…) Three months ago, all this would have seemed like science fiction. But we did it. Hezbollah is no longer the same” , welcomed Benjamin Netanyahu. “We targeted strategic objectives throughout Lebanon, shaking Beirut to its core,” continued the Prime Minister of Israel.

For the latter, this ceasefire will allow Israel to “focus on the Iranian threat”. The Mullahs' regime is the main supporter of the Islamist movement established in Lebanon. “In Iran, we have succeeded in destroying their air defense capabilities, their missile production capacity and a large part of their nuclear program,” the Israeli leader explained.
