Barcelona boss Hansi Flick was spotted engaged in a lengthy chat with Lamine Yamal after the team’s Champions League win over Brest.
Yamal missed out yet again after being deemed not ready to return from a sprained ankle that his kept him out since the international break.
Flick was asked about the chat with his wonderkid and said only:
“I told Lamine Yamal that I hope he’ll be with us on Saturday,” he said. “He’ll train with us tomorrow.”
The Barca boss has already said he hopes Yamal can return against Las Palmas at the weekend and it seems that will be the case.
Flick also spoke about his team’s performance and was full of praise for his players.
“Very, very happy. With the three goals…we could have also scored more. Coming back from the Vigo game and playing like this is great,” he said.
“The team helps Robert to score these goals. He is responsible, he knows he has to score them and he is in the right position to do so. The team is wonderful.”
